A Gold Mine

This book is an excellent presentation of Jung's thinking on a number of topics. It is much more accessible than many of his other writings. Except for the occasional quotation in Latin, the book is surprisingly comprehensible, and provides a snapshot of the background structure of how Jung saw the human psyche, the world, and reality in general. It's an excellent companion piece to his autobiography. My only complaint about the Kindle version is the occasional piece of missing text. Once in a while you will come across a sentence that is obviously missing at least one word. There are also occasional errors in punctuation, which can cause the text to read funny. Not bad enough to kill the book though.

Jung is always excellent!

Cannot begin to explain how this book really impacted me.....except to say that most of Jung's books tend to open me up or help me see more into my "shadow" side of self......I'm doing some deep psychological work on myself & it seems whichever Jung book I buy, there's always something in it that I needed to hear, or look at in a different light to help me adjust my thinking, or attitude.
What can I say? Not much more....if you know & like Jung's work, you will probably find this interesting....do look inside the book prior to buying....to get a feel of it. I always do & have not been disappointed yet (at least w/Jung's books).
